From the moment we met Fleur, firstly through Zoom (those dreaded 2020 vibes), we knew we wanted her to be apart of our day. The sheer joy she felt through this process was infectious and made us so excited for our day. I knew we had “our person” when Fleur asked our colours in order to coordinate outfits for the day (you had our hearts then). 

 

Not only was the lead up perfectly handled with fun tasks to find out more about us, the day took the cake! The way you told our story in a unique and heartfelt way still brings tears to our family and friends eyes. Our nerves fell as soon as we arrived at the end of the aisle which honestly felt like we were speaking with a close friend and truly allowed us to enjoy every minute. 

 

We talk a lot to our guests from that day and for about 90% of the room, this was their first humanist ceremony!!! Your words and how you told our story made our day completely unique to us. We got to have a lottery between our guests for the signing of the register and sealed a memory box as part of our ceremony. Fleur made our day OURS. 

 

Fleur, we love you. We appreciated how open you were to ideas while being honest enough to suggest tweaks to make our ceremony perfect. You are a super star and no one can do weddings like you!

From the outset we knew that we wanted a Humanist ceremony. Something that would reflect our values and feel personal to us.

Which led us to contacting Fleur and having a chat over Zoom. Straight away we knew we had struck gold! She is so warm and open and made us feel at ease immediately. It's not easy revealing your deepest emotions to a complete stranger but Fleur made us feel like we'd known her for years. 

In the run up to the day Fleur helped compose the perfect ceremony for us. It told our story in the most heartwarming and hilarious way. Previously I had always seen the ceremony as something to endure before the party but I can honestly say our ceremony was my favourite part of the day. My cheeks were sore from laughing.

Fleur was the consummate professional throughout a comedy of errors that was our wedding day. From the groom breaking his hand just before the wedding, the ceramic quaich shattering moments before show time and finally when the heavens opened during our outdoor ceremony.

Fleur handled each hurdle expertly turning them into opportunities to laugh and bring everyone closer together. Saying our vows surrounded by our friends and family huddled around us is one of my favourite memories.

We honestly can't thank Fleur enough for agreeing to be our celebrant and telling our story perfectly!

Your energy, your personality and your all round fun vibes just set our day off from the beginning! 

The way you delivered our story was perfect. You made our ceremony, personal and emotional but most importantly relaxing, fun and inclusive of all our guests- which is what we wanted from the start.

 

You made us feel so relaxed so we could enjoy every minute. You made us aware of it being 'our day' and to take in every second and you enabled us to do just that by being you.

 

Our guests have not stopped talking about you and how fabulous you were and where we found you !! And I am so glad we did because it just wouldn't have been the same without you.

First of all thank you so so much for everything. We honestly could not have done it without you. From the very start and the first video call we knew you were the one to marry us. Your dedication and care shone through and we never doubted for a second you would make our day special. From the organisation to the ideas you took our wedding and made it extraordinary. Who would have know the greatest showman could be a reading?! Every single person said how you made it fun, relaxed and the best wedding they had been to. ‘ Right from the start we knew that Fleur was the perfect person to marry us (though I’m sorry you didn’t get to whip out the can can outfit!) Fleur effortless combines warmth, professionalism and sheer joy, and her friendliness and attention to detail throughout our process was unrivalled - no stone was left unturned, and completed the process with a fabulous new friend. 

 

 

On our day itself, every guest commented on how beautiful, inclusive and downright special the ceremony was - including Fleur’s rather brilliant French (and that outfit!) - and the fact that we were Fleur’s first same-sex ceremony was the icing on the cake.

 

Fleur, you are an absolute superstar. It is our honour and privilege to have gotten to know you, and that you’ll forever be part of our life story is the cherry on top of the cake. You are an absolutely ray of light and joy!

You have been so helpful to us from the very start of our planning, all those years ago, right up to the end. 

 

Everyone including us really enjoyed themselves and said how personal and fun the ceremony was. Obviously we knew what you were going to say & do, but it felt so special having everyone there. 

 

We really appreciated how open you were to our ideas for the ceremony, as well as giving your own thoughts and suggestions and helping to incorporate them seamlessly. 

 

Our knotted hand ties are currently taking pride of place on our fireplace.

Fleur has been a guiding light throughout our entire wedding process. We had to postpone our wedding on two occasions due to covid and visa issues, but Fleur really helped us turn a negative into a positive. She was so reassuring, kind and incredibly helpful with everything we needed. She did everything she possibly could to help us finally get married.

 

When the day finally came to get married, Fleur held a small and intimate ceremony for us that was more than I could have hoped for. Her words were poignant, beautiful and everything we needed to hear. I feel so lucky to be able to have Fleur for our second wedding in the summer. She is a ray of light and so special. I couldn't imagine getting married without her.

Fleur has a beautiful aura and a special ability to make you feel safe and listened to. 

 

I was familiar with Fleur’s work, and knew very early on that she would be the best fit to tell Brian and I’s love story. With Brian being deaf/hard of hearing, communication is of extra importance. Fleur was patient and compassionate, and even went the extra mile to learn some BSL, knowing there would also be others from the deaf community involved in our day.

 

We feel very lucky and grateful for Fleur’s involvement in our wedding! Every guests commented on how special, personal and engaging the ceremony was. 

 

Fleur you are fabulous, you made everything so easy, and we cannot thank you enough.

For many of our guests it was the first humanist ceremony they’d been to, and the feedback has been incredible, even from our more traditional/ religious friends. Everyone praised the story, the delivery, your incredible outfit and friendly manner. Having you at the top of the aisle with us made Ian and I feel so relaxed and the ceremony was exactly how we both pictured it. You also gave us the confidence to deliver our vows as well as we did.

Wedding during a pandemic?!? No problem!!

Our wedding journey started way back in 2019 and we contacted Fleur after discovering Humanist Weddings at a Wedding fair.

Instantly we knew this was the perfect type of ceremony for us as we could really share our story, adventures and love with our guests.

Fleur’s relaxed approach with a first meeting in a coffee shop really helped us get to know each other and cemented our choice for a humanist ceremony.

Covid hit and our wedding date had to be changed but Fleur stayed in contact with us and was there to help us navigate what was to come and eventually our day came around.

We loved our ‘getting to know you’ session in our garden due to restrictions at the time and the care she took to really get to know us. When we received our first draft, we were just blown away by how much she had really captured ‘us’ in the ceremony.

Having a run through the day before the wedding was so lovely and calmed any nerves that we and our family and friends had about their role in our ceremony.

On the day we just loved every moment! Thank you for making it so special and memorable!

Fleurs energy and love for her role as a celebrant really shines through. She speaks with so much enthusiasm and warmth that everyone feels a part of that special moment. If you want something personal and special that you will remember forever, I would highly recommend meeting with Fleur 😊

Fleur was an absolute dream as our celebrant and I can’t imagine having anyone else marry us other than her

Even during the height of the pandemic and having virtual meetings to plan our ceremony she was still so professional and upbeat even given the uncertainty of everything

Our ceremony was so personalised and so so much fun! Fleur was able to incorporate a lot of our hobbies and our story into ceremony which made it feel extra special! Even including some live artwork by recreating a Bob Ross style painting session with some of our wedding party recreating the proposal our guests said it was one of the most interesting, different and memorable ceremonies they had been to

We are delighted we chose Fleur as celebrant for our wedding. From the start she was friendly and professional. She guided us through the process of designing our ceremony, giving us lovely ideas and encouraging us to express ourselves as well. “When we decided to engage with a humanist celebrant we didn’t really know what to expect. We decided to do this since neither my husband and I are religious and we also didn’t want to follow the usual traditional ceremony method. 

I contacted Fleur after finding her details online and she suggested an initial coffee meeting to get to know us. She was so warm and engaging that we knew straight away that she would be the perfect person to carry out the ceremony for us, especially with her dance and theatre background. 

Fleur eventually got to know and meet my whole family throughout our duration of correspondence. 

When she sent us her draft of her ideas and what she was going to say we were blown away with her creativity and imagination in tailoring our ceremony to match what we wanted to achieve with our personalities. One of the hardest times was the passing of my father shortly before the wedding, with her support and thoughtfulness she included a touching moment and words about him that was conveyed in such a happy way and meant a lot to us and all the guests. 

Every element of the ceremony was beautiful and everyone came up to me after to comment on how they were touched. 

We couldn’t have picked anyone better to do our ceremony for us and Fleur really did exceed our expectations.

I'm not even sure where to start. From beginning to end Fleur was beyond amazing. She really just got us as a couple and a family. The most important factor in our marriage is our children and Fleur included them in our ceremony so beautifully. She was brilliant with my eldest daughter who is normally quite shy, but thanks to Fleur she managed to do a reading in the ceremony. She captured our story, interests and passions in her script, and her idea of a sand blending for our blended family was just perfect. Planning a wedding is so stressful, but creating our ceremony with Fleur was a joy, and we enjoyed it so much - it was so personal. It was definitely our favourite part of wedding planning, which is as it should be as it is the most important part. And to top it all off, we have our script as a beautiful keepsake to read back on over the years to come. We honestly could not recommend Fleur highly enough.

Where do I even start when it comes to recommending Fleur! It meant so much to us to have Fleur marry us! she made the ceremony everything we could ever want and more! We had initially booked a registrar for our home wedding but once we saw that Humanist Ceremonies had become legal we were put in touch with Fleur based on recommendations! She helped to explain every aspect of a humanist wedding, as well as answer my many questions! After our first coffee together I knew we were in good hands! nothing was too much for Fleur and she always gave the best advice for us. The whole process was so meaningful and helped get us even more excited for the big day! We also felt so relaxed as we were able to know everything that was going on, what we had to say and feel reassured that Fleur would be by our side guiding us along the way. I don't know how to thank you Fleur enough! for your patience, kindness, reassuring presence, taking the time to get to know us and our relationship on a personal level and for helping make our wedding the best day of our lives! I can't tell you how many of our guests have said how lovely and personal the ceremony was and how they really did enjoy it! It mean't so much to us that the ceremony was based on love, which to us, is all that marriage is about. We really appreciate you taking the time to pick up on the little things that mean so much to us with our relationship, especially that you wore those awesome lightening bolt ear rings! When we started wedding planning we knew we wanted a celebration that meant something and was personal to us as a couple we didn't know what this was. We knew what we didn't want an impersonal short legal service and we also despite both being brought up catholic we didn't see ourselves getting married in a church service.... I looked up websites, social media and I had a gut feeling about. I didn't know what to expect or how it worked but you immediately put us both at ease and basically handed us a blank canvas of how our ceremony could be and what we could do. You had this amazing energy and your love for what you do was clear!! Having a humanist ceremony was unknown to both our familys and although they 100% supported us I think there might have been a few reservations. Next thing we new Covid hit and we were hit with what and how could we have a wedding during a pandemic ?? You were the first and only wedding supplier to touch base and it meant a lot you gave options and were there to help us which was so appreciated. We made the decision to marry no matter what. You put us immediately at ease and you just got us and what we are about. Through a chilled chat we covered loads and one particular thing you suggested was a water unity ceremony due to our love of water and getting engaged by a waterfall, something i had never heard of, so we left our script to you. I was so excited the day I received it you captured us and our relationship perfectly. It was such a stress free and enjoyable process  I couldnt believe how personal and beautifully written it was. We were both delighted!! Fast forward to a fun filled rehearsal were you took the time to get go know our families and made our nieces feel so important and special helping them carry out their special curtsey at the top of the aisle. On the day it was perfect you made us so at easy you let us take it at our own speed and vibed off us beautifully. I loved every moment of our celebration. You made sure it was perfect!!! Our families were both so touched at the time you took to speak to them all. Our celebration has been talked about by all our guests for how perfect it was, how beautiful, how special, how unique and how it captured me and darren and our relationship perfectly. You were amazing and I couldn't recommend you more!! You were  our  perfect celebant and I couldnt imagine our marriage ceremony  as anything other than the beautiful script you wrote  🥰.

Thank you so much for your great involvement in our wedding. Guests loved the ceremony, it was great for them to hear our story! Our families appreciated you blending elements from both cultures and speaking a few words in Romanian and Chinese. I could see faces full of emotion and smiles for most of the night! It was truly a magical day!
